The 10th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Corrosion and Protection Technology Exchange Conference is not only a grand event in the field of corrosion protection for the international petroleum and petrochemical industry, but also a professional platform that promotes breakthroughs in green anti-corrosion technologies and facilitates international academic exchange and business cooperation. China's "dual carbon" goals are driving a profound transformation across the petroleum and petrochemical industry. Oil and gas exploration is pushing into deep, ultra-deep, and unconventional reservoirs; refining operations are processing increasingly sour and acidic crudes; the total length of long-distance oil and gas pipelines has surpassed 200,000 km; and emerging sectors such as hydrogen energy and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) are gaining momentum. In this context, corrosion protection has evolved from traditional "passive remediation" to a new paradigm of "whole-life-cycle digital and intelligent management". To actively implement high-quality development requirements, accelerate the transformation of the petroleum and petrochemical industry, promote whole-life-cycle management of upstream, midstream, and downstream assets, strengthen the foundation of intrinsic safety, and ensure safe, stable, long-term, high-yield, and efficient operation, the conference will be held in Shanghai from July 28 to 30, 2026.
